Tax on Tax

22 Feb 2008I just filed my tax returns. I paid the good on-line preparer the fees due. I noticed an extra $1.65 in sales tax… I understand it, but can’t help noticing the irony that I am paying taxes on paying my taxes. (fortunately the fees are deductible next year).
