Ah! The conversations you can have when you are up 12 points in the World Series!

I have always been a bit of an aviation fan, so I was excited to see these pictures of the A380!  http://www.news.com/2300-11397_3-6215473-1.html?part=rss&tag=6215473&subj=news The Suite concept is pretty amazing! Although, I am sure it won’t be long before the cabins are all a bunch of tightly packed seats.

After years of watching her bigger sister go to birthday parties, “Thing 2″ was invited to a party today. It was a costume party and she went as tinkerbell. Like any father, I am mildly concerned that her cuteness may show up anyone else at the party.

I am only a mild Star Trek fan (more in the era of Picard), but I can certainly appreciate good look-a-like casting!

I read yesterday’s poem to “The Pretty One”. Understandably she was mildly offended. She pointed out that I haven’t written her a poem in years, but have now written one for meat. I was quick to point out that it isn’t really exactly meat.

Fantasy Win

Week 6 and I finally got my first Fantasy Football win.   I play “Fantasy” football almost as poorly as I play “Real” football.

I got excited to see this headline on CNN’s site this morning: Political Blog: Where is Fred Thompson It was an article about his position in the presidential race. I was bummed that it didn’t say something like “Still in Bed” or “Having a breakfast of Toast and Bananas”. Now THAT would have been Web2.0!
